بدین: امن کونسل پاکستان برائے بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی (پی سی پی آئی ایچ) نے حکومت پاکستان کی طرف سے منظور شدہ پٹرولیم ایکسپلوریشن اینڈ پروڈکشن پالیسی ، 2012 کی خلاف ورزی کے خلاف احتجاجی مظاہرے اور ریلی نکالی ، اور اگست کے مہینے میں وزارت پیٹرولیم و قدرتی وسائل کی جانب سے نوٹیفکیشن جاری کیا گیا 2012۔

اجتماع سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے نمائندوں نے کہا کہ تیل اور گیس کی تلاش کرنے والی کمپنیاں جہاں ترقیاتی اسکیموں کو یقینی بنانے کے لئے نظرانداز کررہی ہیں جہاں تیل تیار کیا جاتا ہے۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ تیل اور گیس کی تلاش کے دوران فصلوں اور کھیتوں کو نقصان پہنچا ہے لیکن مالکان نے اس طرح کے نقصان اور نقصان کا معاوضہ فراہم نہیں کیا ہے جبکہ تیل کی پیداوار کے بونس اور رائلٹی کو بھی انکار کردیا ہے۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ صوبہ سندھ سے تیل اور گیس کی زبردست پیداوار کے باوجود ، باشندوں کو ان کمپنیوں میں ملازمت سے محروم کردیا گیا تھا اور دوسرے صوبوں کے لوگوں کو معاہدے اور قواعد کی خلاف ورزی کرتے ہوئے بھرتی کیا گیا تھا۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ تیل اور گیس کی بہت بڑی پیداوار کے باوجود ، سجاول ، بدین ، ​​اور ٹھٹھہ سمیت سندھ کے عوام غربت ، بے روزگاری ، معاشی بقا کی بگڑتی ہوئی صورتحال ، تعلیم ، صحت ، پینے کے صاف پانی سمیت دیگر بنیادی سہولیات کی کمی کا سامنا کر رہے ہیں۔

BADIN: Peace Council Pakistan for Interfaith Harmony (PCPIH) held a protest demonstration and rally against violation of petroleum exploration and production policy, 2012, approved by the government of Pakistan and notification issued by the ministry of petroleum and natural resources during the month of August 2012.

The rally began from Mamoo Lado chowk and culminated at Sujjawal public park led by Advocate Roshan Ali Lakhan, Abdul Sami Ansari, Ghulam Hussain Mirbahar, Haji Ahmed Lakhatio, Babu Ghulam Akber Baloch, and others.

While addressing the gathering representatives said oil and gas exploring companies were neglecting to ensure for development schemes where oil was produced. They said during the exploration of oil and gas crops and fields were damaged but owners have not facilitated compensation of such harm and damage while oil production bonuses and royalty were also denied. They said despite the huge production of oil and gas from Sindh province, inhabitants were deprived of employment in those companies and people from other provinces were recruited violating the agreement and rules. They said despite the huge production of oil and gas, people of Sindh including Sujjawal, Badin, and Thatta were facing poverty, unemployment, worsen economic survival, lack of basic amenities including education, health, pure drinking water, and others.
